The Re-Assignment page is used to mass-transfer clients from one assigned staff member to another.
A typical use case for the page is when an employee leaves your organization and their case load needs to be transferred to another staff member.
Temporary re-assignments can be made when an employee is on leave and needs a coworker to cover their case load.
This page updates the information that is initially set in the Patient Assignment page.
Updates can be made to both site and team assignments.
Re-Assignment Page Layout
Current Assignment: The staff member whose case load you would like to reassign. Once selected, the staff member's site will show underneath this drop down for reference.
Site Type: Filters the results based on the type of site you will be updating the assignment FROM.
Client's Current Site: Filters the results based on the specific site you will be updating the assignment FROM.
New Assignment: The staff member who you will be updating the assignment TO. Once selected, the employee's site will show underneath this drop down for reference.
Client's New Site: The specific site you will be updating the assignment TO.
Job Type:Filters the results based on the job type (also called Team Role in the Patient Assignment page).
Population: Filters the results based on the client's population.
Active Assignment Results: The results will show here based on the filters set above (# 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7). Use the checkbox on the left side to select which results you would like to re-assign.
Assignment Options:
Reassign client's assigned site: If selected, AxiomEHR will not only update the client's assigned staff but will update their assigned site to the value selected in the Client's New Site drop down (#5 above).
Make this a temporary assignment: If selected, AxiomEHR will flag this assignment as a temporary assignment. This is most often used when a staff member is on leave but is expected to return.
Reassign temporary assignments only: If selected, only assignments flagged as temporary will be updated. This is most often used when a staff member returns from leave and is ready to see their clients again.
Submit & Reset buttons: Click "Submit" to apply the selected reassignments or press "Reset" to clear the form.
