Getting Started in the Quick Access Panel
1. Quick Access: This panel is used to view information related to you and the patient. This will show on any patient-related pages in AXIOM at the top of the page.
2. Patient Information: The first section will include basic information about the patient as well as some Chart Details in the tabs.
3. Calendar: This will show on the landing page and within the quick access panel. You can use this to review your schedule, your clinical teams’ schedules, and schedule appointments.
4. Patients & Clinical Team: This is where you can view your assigned patients as well as your clinical team.
Please Note: You can minimize the entire Quick Access Panel by clicking the arrow and it will keep it minimized until you click the arrow again.
Patient Information
1. Photo: You can take photos of the patients to add to their charts. If there is an uploaded picture you will see it where the camera icon is.
2. Demographics: Shows gender, home address, and primary phone number. This information can be edited in the Member Address Page.
3. Funding: This will show the patient’s enrolled program; the provider is the facility the services are provided at and the funding category will show primary insurance.
4. Contacts: If the patient has a legal guardian they will show here first, an emergency contact would be the next priority for contact. This can be edited from the Member Contact page.
Problem List
1. Diagnosis Codes: This will list all the active behavioral and physical diagnosis codes entered in the patient's chart. This shows the code description and code, precedence and the start date.
2. Problem Codes Page: Clicking this button will open the Problem List page in a new window. From there you can add, reorder and remove problems.
Appointments
1. Appointment Information: This will show all upcoming appointments for the patient. This includes the staff member the appointment is with, the date and time, additional comments and the brief reasoning for the appointment.
2. Appointments Page: Clicking this button will open the Appointments page in a new window to add appointments.
RX
1. Prescription Info: This will show all of the current medications the patient is prescribed. It will include the prescription name, count, the number of refills (if any) and when the medication was prescribed.
2. Prescription Page: Clicking this will open the Prescription Admin Sheet in a new window to add, edit or remove medications.
Notes
1. Notes: This is where you can view Clinical Notes for the patient from other staff members. It will show the Topic, Importance, Notes and the Date/Time the note was entered.
2. Open Notes: This will open the Clinical Notes to add, edit and expire the notes.
Insurance
1. Insurance: This tab will display all payor information for the patient who's chart you are in.
Communications
1. Communications: Patient Portal enhancement coming soon!
Clinical Alerts
1. Clinical Alerts: This is where any alerts will be. It will describe the Clinical Alert, as well as the precedence of importance.
2. Submit: Here you can submit the Alert if any are needed on the patient chart.
Calendar
1. Calendar: This section will display your calendar, it will default to today, but you can use the < to go back or > to go forward a day. Clicking today will take you to today’s date.
2. Today: The today button and arrows help you navigate throughout the calendar. If you are wanting to go back by the time selected in number 3 you will use the < and > arrows to navigate. Today will bring you back to the current day.
3. Viewing Options: Here you can change how to view your calendar, by either a list for the day in bullet points, the day as shown above, by the week or by the month.
4. Calendar View: You can view your schedule within this box. This box is how you will schedule appointments. You will click the time you are wanting to schedule the appointment for, and it will open the appointment window to enter all the information needed.
5. Show/Hide Cancelled: This allows you to show or hide canceled appointments within the calendar.
6. View My Calendar: When viewing an associate or clinical team member's schedule you can quickly navigate to your calendar again by clicking this.
7. Print Schedule: This will only print the current day’s schedule, not previous or upcoming.
Patients & Clinical Team
1. Patients Tab: This will display a list of patients that you are the assigned to.
2. View My Patient: You can Search by name here.
3. Patient List: Clicking on a patient name in the list will select them as the active patient so you can begin to work in their chart.
4. Clinical Team Tab: This will show a list staff members that are assigned as part of your clinical team.
5. Staff Member List: Clicking on a staff member name will open their calendar to view into the Quick Access Panel. Depending on your roles, you can edit that staff’s calendar.
