Introduction
This article walks you through the correct process for deleting a note (encounter) from the system.
Users cannot delete a progress note directly because each note automatically creates an encounter. To remove the note, you must delete the associated encounter from RCM > Encounters. Deleting the encounter will also delete the linked note.
Prerequisites
At a minimum, the following page permission(s) enabled under Security Settings for your role or user account:
- Revenue Cycle Management - Encounters (View, Save, Delete)
